National Marriage Week USA—from February 7th to 14th every year — is a collaborative effort to encourage many diverse groups to strengthen individual marriages, reduce the divorce rate, and build a stronger marriage culture, which in turn helps curtail poverty and benefits children.
 

Marriage works. It makes people happier, live longer, and build more economic security. Children with married parents perform better in school.

Deep down, everyone wishes they could have a rewarding lifelong commitment with their spouse. But in the midst of challenges, we forget how marriage can benefit our personal lives. We are losing our determination and the skills to keep marriages heal thy and strong.

Marriage breakdown is costly to our kids and to society at large. Divorce and unwed childbearing cost the U.S. taxpayers a whopping $112 billion annually. In these economic challenging times, building stronger marriages helps build a stronger nation.

Whether you are engaged, newlyweds, or just want to enrich your married life, this workshop will benefit all seeking a traditional marriage education. Discussing a new topic each night, what’s important in your traditional marriage and to your (soon to be) spouse. Topics include: Expectations, Children, Sex & Intimacy, Finances, and so much more.

The Workshop is 1-1/2 hours each night:

• Monday - Saturday & Monday, February 7-11 & 13, 2012  from 6:30 pm - 8:00pm
• Weddings to be held throughout the day on Tuesday, February 14, 2012

Two programs available:

 Workshop only:  If you are already married and simply wish to take the class.

 Workshop & Ceremony: If you have your marriage license and wish to be married on Valentine's Day (2/14/12), along with attending the workshop, select this option. As on ordained minister, we are extending this service to those who attend the workshop at a discounted price.  Wedding will be conducted in downtown Long Beach only, at a mutually agreed upon time.  A simple ceremony; select from religious or spiritual.
